To end off the term our borders had combined talent show with Riebeek. It was a fun evening which included music, dance, games and some good food. The evening took the shape of a family games night where all the borders enjoyed themselves.
The junior team had their league debate against Stedin. The motion was; ‘This House Believes That Homework Should Be Optional’. Our gents won the debate with Miguel Ferreira as best speaker. Well done!

It is with sadness that we bid farewell to Miss Baderoon. Her contribution to Muir over the last six years has been appreciated. We wish her well for the future.
Mr Bester from Nelson Mandela University addressed our Grade 12 learners on the opportunities offered through their undergraduate program. Such information is critical as our gents consider their options beyond school.
The Grade 4 to 5s experienced a Rugby World Cup themed stay awake. This was a jam packed evening with activities including a dance marathon, tug of war, pillow fighting, a rugby trivia, polar plunge and prize giving. Thanks to all the staff who were involved in this fun over night adventure.
Muir College Rugby travelled to Makhanda for the Graeme College Rugby Festival. Friday, 24 March versus Stirling High School 1st XV won 21-12 u/16A won 10-7 u/14A drew 17-17 Saturday, 24 March versus Queen’s College u/13A lost 24-31 Well done to all our teams.
The u/14 hockey team participated in the Alex Festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The gents enjoyed themselves during the course of the festival.
There are many benefits to planting trees apart from adding to the aesthetics of our school campus. Thanks to the Old Muirite Union - OMU who are always looking for opportunities to give as they donated Outeniqua Yellowwood trees to be planted on the grounds.
