Our Muir Primary Chess Team competed against the Handhaaf B side in their first match of the chess season. Our boys played very well and came out victorious with a score of 5½ to 1½ to Muir. The Senior Chess team lost against Hoërskool Despatch.
Our squash season started with a 10-4 victory against the E.P Development side. Well done, gents.

Muir College hosted the latest round of the Schools Junior Debating League. The motion was "This House Would Require All High School Students To Do Community Work. The results were as follows: Muir 1 lost to Riebeek 2 with Luvuyo Sityi as best speaker. Muir 2 beat Gamble Street with Miguel Ferreira as best speaker.
Our 1st and 2nd teams played doubles against Brandwag. Although both teams lost, our gents are looking forward to improving as the season progresses.
