Requirements:

  • A relevant University Degree, plus a relevant PGCE or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching CAT at Grade 12 level is advantageous.
  • A working knowledge of SA-SAMS.
  • IT Technician/problem-solving/end-user support abilities advantageous.
  • Microsoft Server and Networking experience advantageous.
  • Be passionate about education.
  • Understand, and support, the ethos and vision of the school.
  • Work well with pupils, parents and teachers.
  • Have excellent administrative and organisational skills.
  • Be willing to participate in the extra-curricular program.

Administrative Assistant

Commencing January 2024

 

Position Overview:

You will play a crucial role in managing our school’s operations, with responsibilities including clothing shop management, social media upkeep, debt collection support, and various administrative tasks. Your efforts contribute to our school’s success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Clothing Shop Management: Manage the school’s clothing store.

Social Media Management: Manage and be accountable for the upkeep of all school social media platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the information reported.

Debt Collection and Finance Support: Assist in tracking accounts, particularly overdue payments.

Administrative Tasks: Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient school operations.

Qualifications and Requirements: (No Criminal Record)

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in Retail & Collection is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in computer applications for data entry and basic financial tasks.

Familiarity with social media and digital marketing is advantageous.

Basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles is beneficial.

Working Conditions:

Work within a school environment.

Occasional weekend or evening work may be required for school needs and special events.
