TIME CAPSULE CEREMONY

The Matrics of 2022, along with sponsors, will be symbolically “burying” three time capsules, which will be opened on their 10th, 25th and 50th reunions.
These capsules will contain, for example, letters to themselves, newspaper headlines, magazine, technology that could be outdated within those 10, 25 or 50 years. Sponsors can include a product (if it’s small enough) and some of their marketing brochures, to see how marketing changes over the decades.

200 LIFE LESSONS LEADERSHIP BOOKLET LAUNCH
Venue: Muir College School Hall
Time: 10h00
Price: R100pp including refreshments / Complimentary for Contributors
200 Individuals have been approached to write a short life lesson, whether it be about work, family, faith or life in general. The contributors will be Old Muirites, community leaders, sporting heroes, cultural experts, education experts, national celebrities … the list goes on.
Contributors and sponsors will be invited to attend the event where some of the Matrics will read out their favourite life lesson from the booklet.

TEACHERS’ HONOURING COCKTAIL FUNCTION
Hosted by the Old Muirite Union and Spar Eastern Cape
Venue: Walmer Golf Club, 79 River Road, Walmer, Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha)

Price: R200pp, includes a light meal. Teachers’ entry is free
Bar: Cash bar available.
Dress Code: Come dressed as a person, character, animal… (be creative) that starts with the 1st letter of your first name.
